  1. I love the smell of lavender. It’s very soothing. I use it in my apple cider vinegar rinse for my locs about once per week. The smell is amazing and lasts for several days.

  2. I have used lavender oil on my face but not in my hair. Will give it a try for my currently dry & flaky scalp. Great articleJonna!

  3. So I applied lavender oil to aloe vera gel last night and used it for my flaking scalp and it does smell very nice as Dee says! I also used the combo as a moisturiser for my face and it means I don’t have to apply oil as a separate step in my skin care routine. This was such a timely post Ariane!!

  4. I had no idea that lavender oil could help prevent hair from shedding. Although I have very thick hair, I’ve noticed that my hair has been thinning a little when I take a shower. Thanks for all the great information on the benefits of lavender oil for hair.
