You can cover your head with a head wrap or bonnet when you sleep, and then wash your hair in the morning. I love the smell of lavender. It’s very soothing. I use it in my apple cider vinegar rinse for my locs about once per week. The smell is amazing and lasts for several days.
Lavender is one of my favorite scents!
I have used lavender oil on my face but not in my hair. Will give it a try for my currently dry & flaky scalp. Great articleJonna!
Thanks!
So I applied lavender oil to aloe vera gel last night and used it for my flaking scalp and it does smell very nice as Dee says! I also used the combo as a moisturiser for my face and it means I don’t have to apply oil as a separate step in my skin care routine. This was such a timely post Ariane!!
I had no idea that lavender oil could help prevent hair from shedding. Although I have very thick hair, I’ve noticed that my hair has been thinning a little when I take a shower. Thanks for all the great information on the benefits of lavender oil for hair.
